Lauren, the heart and soul behind Carousel Kids, is a proud mom of three children. Her love for her kids is what inspired her to open Carousel Kids, a store where families can find high-quality, gently used items that make life a little easier—and a lot more fun. As a mom, Lauren knew firsthand how fast kids grow and how important it is to find affordable, meaningful pieces for them. This passion for providing other families with the same opportunities is what led her to create Carousel Kids.

Lauren’s commitment to her family runs even deeper. Her youngest daughter is on the autism spectrum, and this experience has inspired her to create a space that is welcoming, inclusive, and understanding of the different needs of every family. As they browsed, the grandmother spotted vintage Spaghetti-O bowls from her childhood. Smiling, she pointed them out to her daughter, sparking shared memories across generations. Touched by the moment, Lauren gifted them the bowls, saying, ‘Take them, please—they’re yours.’The joy, nostalgia, and connection between the generations was a reminder of why Carousel Kids exists: to create lasting memories that go beyond just items on a shelf.

The Gump Home is like the poster child for classic Southern charm – it’s like the architectural equivalent of a warm hug and a glass of sweet tea. Nestled in the heart of the South, it’s the kind of place that makes you want to kick off your shoes and just relax. It’s got that perfect blend of old-school Southern style and modern coziness, making it the ultimate hotspot for Southern living at its most fabulous. This home is so inviting, it’s like it’s saying, “Hey y’all, come on in and stay a while!”

This movie is a double treat featuring two stunning and distinct homes. The open floor plan means you can easily glide from the living area to the spacious kitchen, perfect for throwing epic parties or just hanging out with the fam. And don’t even get me started on the views outside – it’s like having your own personal nature documentary right on your doorstep!

The Rosecliff Mansion featured in The Great Gatsby

This may be one of my top favorites! The home in the Great Gatsby screams elegance, money and glamour! You wouldn’t have to ask me twice to come rendezvous at this home! It’s like the house partied so hard that it woke up with a hangover of elegance! The architecture is all like, “Hey, look at me, I’m the fanciest of them all!” And when you walk in, it’s as if the interior is saying, “Welcome to the land of velvet, chandeliers, and marble floors. Step right in, darling!” Every room is like a character in a fancy play, telling stories of opulence and class. It’s the kind of place where you half-expect to bump into Jay Gatsby himself, sipping a martini and exchanging banter about the good old days.
